Paul Russell Semendinger
Dr. Paul Semendinger has been a passionate child-centered educator for more than 32 years. He first enjoyed a successful career
as a middle school history earning numerous awards including �Teacher of the Year� and the prestigious �A+For Kids� grant before
moving on to administration. Paul has served as a high school vice principal, a middle school principal, and recently retired as
the principal of the most wonderful elementary school in the whole world!
Paul has enjoyed working in various professional organizations including serving as the President of the New Jersey Middle School
Association and he has served as an adjunct college professor at both Ramapo College and William Paterson University. He is a member
of the Society of American Baseball Research (SABR) and has contributed to numerous SABR publications. Paul is also a member of the
Internet Baseball Writers Association of America (IBWAA) and is a regular contributor to their exclusive newsletter, "Here's The
Pitch." Paul operates, writes for, and is the Editor-in-Chief of the extremely successful Yankees blog, Start Spreading the News,
which has enjoyed millions of page views. Paul has two programs on the Northeast Streaming Sports Network and contributes weekly to
their flagship program "The Mac and Jack Show" where he is known as their resident baseball expert. Paul is also a regular guest on
many baseball podcasts and programs including the "Bronx Beat Podcast."
Paul leads an active life. He enjoys running and has completed more than 20 marathons including the New York City Marathon nine times.
Paul also plays competitive baseball. More than all of this, Paul is a family man and enjoys the time he can spend as a husband and �Dad�
with his wife and three sons. There is nothing he is prouder of than the fact that he is a good dad and husband. Paul lives in New Jersey.
